This is the second time we have bought cheese from this store, and the second time we have had a problem with its freshness. The first package had a sour smell and taste, so we threw it away. Two days later, we came back and bought another package of the same cheese, only to discover mold inside after opening it. As shown in the video, the cheese was clearly not fresh. It was difficult to notice before opening because it was wrapped in multiple layers of packaging. What is especially concerning is that the label states the cheese was packaged today. This raises serious concerns, as it appears that either the packaging dates are being relabeled or spoiled cheese is being packaged and sold despite already being unfit for consumption. We are very disappointed and hope this issue will be addressed

Big Square Pacific is a large store with a wide variety of products, and one of its strengths is that you can often find items that are difficult to find in other supermarkets. The store is generally clean and well-organized. However, my biggest concern is the customer service, particularly at the checkout area. On several occasions, whether I was shopping alone, with family members, or with friends, I noticed that the cashiers were not welcoming. Most of the time there was no greeting, no smile, and no effort to make customers feel appreciated. In comparison, when shopping at stores such as Ralphs, Sprouts, or Whole Foods, cashiers usually greet customers warmly, ask how their day is going, and create a positive shopping experience. Those small interactions make a big difference and leave customers with a good impression. Another issue is pricing. Many products seem noticeably more expensive than at other grocery stores. For example, I have found items such as milk and other everyday products priced significantly higher than comparable stores. While I understand that some specialty products may cost more, the overall pricing often feels above market rates. I believe the store

This is one of the most expensive stores in Glendale. I have shopped here several times and recently noticed issues with my purchases, including being charged for items I did not intentionally buy. I also purchased high-quality meat, but overall I felt the pricing and experience were not consistent with the value. The staff and cashiers were not very welcoming or helpful during my visits. Based on my experience, I will not be returning.

One of my favorite grocery spots in Glendale! Their deli section and prepared foods are top-notch always fresh and flavorful. The meat department is also excellent. It’s a great place to find high-quality ingredients and unique specialty products. Great value for the price!

I don’t usually like writing negative reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a market. The staff were not friendly at all—no hello, no thank you, and I felt completely ignored during my visit. It honestly felt very unwelcoming, especially if you’re not Armenian. Because of this experience, I’ve told my friends and family not to go there.

Honestly, I’m sure half of the good Reviews on here are from employees , To make ratings higher , Because I absolutely don’t know how this place has 4.4 stars . It is terrible. The customer service was terrible. There were many expired things. I am not against any race , But the employees in this store made us feel unwelcome , They were very rude and disrespectful made us feel like we didn’t belong / Belittled . We will never be going here again. Mind you, this is an Armenian store , I have friends who are Armenian Who also say they will never be in the store again Due to the disrespect and poor service.honestly if there was a way to give 0 stars I would .

I’m a big fan of big square. It has quite literally all Armenian products you could ask for and more. Very organized, clean, With fresh produce. There’s definitely many components to this place, such as a Restaurant (hot pan) as well as a jewelry store. If you were looking for a good deal on Armenian products, give this place a try. Lots of parking out front for free.
